Psychological Intervention
Individual intervention for Children, Adolescents and Adults.

Grace is experienced in providing evidenced based treatments including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing and Mindfulness. She also has experience in utilising aspects of Schema Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy and has a special interest in supporting individuals with emotion regulation difficulties.

Dialectical Behaviour Therapy Skills Group
For neurodivergent individuals

Facilitated by Clinical Psychologists Talia Burton (Embracing Minds Psychology) & Grace Young (Cove Psychology), this 10-week DBT Skills program is informed by Dr Marsha Linehan's fundamental teachings and adapted to neurodivergent individuals.
Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) was developed to help individuals learn and apply skills to assist with regulating emotions, interpersonal relationships and coping with big emotions.

Westmead Feelings Program - 2
For primary school aged autistic children
Facilitated by Clinical Psychologists Talia Burton (Embracing Minds Psychology) & Grace Young (Cove Psychology), the Westmead Feelings program (3 modules over15-weeks) is an emotion-based learning program for children diagnosed with autism (without intellectual disability). This evidence-based intervention aims to increase emotion recognition, perspective taking, problem solving and emotion regulation skills to primary school aged children (aged 8-12-years).
The program includes;
- 15 child sessions (maximum group size of 6)
- 6 pre-recorded parent sessions & zoom Q&A sessions
- 6 pre-recorded teacher sessions & zoom Q&A sessions
- Individual progress summary report & parent feedback session
- Child, parent & teacher workbook
